Anxiety

God,

I had this bad feeling all day—like impending doom lurked around every corner. Waiting, ready to snatch at me, defeating my every effort. Instead of being a positive force for you today, Lord, I wasted the day trying to second-guess my next moment, my next hour. I tuned in to the world’s principles, not listening to you. Please blow away anxiety’s dark cloud, which I’ve allowed to overstay its visit. Thank you for caring for me in all ways, just as you provide for little birds and the wildflowers in the field.
                                                Amen and Good Night, God
