Boredom

God,

I thought I was doing my own thinking, but now I realize I was listening to Satan. The lure of the lifestyle I left behind beckoned through my boredom with a sweet, clear voice. Boredom must be one of Satan's most powerful and subtle weapons. He made my old ways look as attractive as ever. And so inviting. It would have been easy today for me to have stepped across seduction's thin line and into the arms of worldly pleasure. Thank you, Lord, for taking my hand when I reached for guidance out of the slimy waters I'd willingly waded into. Please stay near, helping me defend against all of Satan's weapons.
