Grandparenting

God,

It's not like it used to be. We don't live like the Waltons--two or three generations under the same roof, everybody taking care of each other's needs. No, I can't be there with my grandchildren every day. I can't hover over them, trying to protect them from harm. I ached to hold them today, but thank you for letting me hear their sweet little voices on the telephone. Lord, I'll trust you to guard these precious grandchildren, keeping them safe from danger. Please let me be as much a part of their lives as possible.
