Welcome, Gail. What do you enjoy doing for relaxation?
Traveling is my favorite way to relax even though I’m on the go sightseeing, but it’s different, especially if it’s a place I’ve never been. But daily at home, I relax in different ways. One is to exercise for thirty minutes on my recumbent bicycle. Often I watch the Home and Garden TV channel since I enjoy decorating. I feel exhilarated from burning a few calories and it also stimulates my mind and offers the perfect idea for my novel. But two other ways happen in the evening if I’m not heading to a rehearsal. I love to read and try to squeeze in a few pages of a novel or I watch a movie, the old classics or modern movies with suspense or romance (such as Hallmark). Occasionally we rent a movie from On Demand.

What do you enjoy about writing?
I enjoy bringing ideas to life through flawed characters and well-paced stories To me, my novels are modern day parables that bring answers and truths to readers. I love hearing from readers who have been touched and motivated by the message or truth they find in the story.

What can readers who enjoy your book do to help make it a success?
I am thrilled when readers tell others about my latest book or any of my books. Word of mouth is the best form of support. I’m also pleased when readers share some of my Facebook posts about anything, especially if they share their enjoyment of my newest book. Another big form of support it to leave reviews on the major online bookstores who sell my books.

Please tell us a little about your novel, A Husband For Christmas.
A Husband For Christmas is the second novel in the

Lilac Circle series. Lilac Circle is a fictitious cul de sac in the real town of Owosso, Michigan. Readers have met a number of Lilac Circle’s residents and their goings-on and will meet new ones as well, some wise, some nosy, some struggling and some happy and falling in love. Each novel will revolve around a character or two who live on the neighborly small town street.

The back cover information says:
The Bachelor Next Door - Spending her holidays in picturesque Lilac Circle, Michigan, is the perfect place for Nina Jerome to start anew. She's determined to put her painful divorce in the past and focus on the future. She hadn't planned on being distracted by her sweet neighbor, Doug Billings. The successful businessman and temporary dad is clueless when it comes to taking care of his little niece. Getting help from Nina is the perfect setup—but something about the pretty new nanny makes him think about the unthinkable: having a wife and a family of his own. Can he convince Nina that she's worthy of a second chance at love—just in time for Christmas?

FOR OUR GOOD by Paula Mowery

Paula Mowery is a pastor’s wife, mom to a college student, author, acquiring editor, and speaker. No matter the hat she wears, she strives to honor God’s plan even if it means going out on a limb and leaving comfort zones. Reviewers have characterized her writing as “thundering with emotion.” Her book, Be The Blessing, won the 2014 Selah Award in the novella category. Paula enjoys reading and reviewing Christian fiction, writing Christian romance and devotionals, and helping other authors realize their dream of publication.

Welcome, Paula. If you could have dinner with one person from today or history (except Jesus) who would it be?
I think it would be interesting to have dinner with one of my female ancestors, getting her story within our family tree. I would be especially intrigued to interview my great grandfather on my father’s side since I’ve written about my grandfather and his brothers’ involvement in a shoot-out in the front of a saloon in 1903.

Where is your favorite vacation spot?
My husband’s years of vacationing at the beach with his family has rubbed off on me. My favorite thing is to read and write sitting on the beach with the waves rolling in as background. So relaxing and just the right atmosphere for stories to be born.

What do you enjoy doing for relaxation?
My down time is usually filled with reading Christian fiction from my favorite authors.

What do you enjoy most about writing?
I simply love when a new story starts to emerge. I really enjoy brainstorming and making notes about what could happen and then bringing it to life. Recently a story idea came to me through a dream, and I’ve been mulling it over for several days and recording ideas on a legal pad. I’m almost ready to start writing those first lines.

Please tell us a little about your novel, For Our Good.
For Our Good is my first Christian romantic

suspense. Charlie is an undercover cop with some scores to settle with drug traffickers. She is no damsel in distress. In fact it might be more likely that she saves the day and the guy.

Colton is a corporate pilot who has never been near commitment with a woman until Charlie shows up.
However, secrets could ruin everything.

This story involves a character who feigns Christianity, which Paul warns Timothy about in Scripture. He explains that some will seem like believers and to be careful.

Here's the Back Cover Blurb of For Our Good:
Charlie Jarvis is haunted by loss that fuels her desire to rid the world of drug traffickers. When her next assignment takes her back to her hometown, she has to confront her painful past. She has no interest in a relationship since God seems to kill everyone she loves.

Colton Thomas appreciates material things and the status of being a corporate pilot. When someone approaches him to deliver a package for a large sum of money that could wipe out his debts, temptation knocks loud on his door even as his partner, Marshall, slams it shut. Meeting Charlie challenges his non-committal stance with women. As he considers who he has become and the kind of man he would want to be for Charlie, he confronts his own shallow lifestyle and the fear that he would never be able to help her heal her wounds.

As Charlie pursues the man causing young boys to die of overdoses, she struggles with the secrets she keeps from Colton. With people around them shining the light of God and encouraging their courtship, both Charlie and Colton have to face hard truths about life, death, love, and faith. And maybe find a fresh start for them both.
