After writing four published nonfiction books and one coauthored e-book, I have completed my first novel, That Summer.
My more than 200 articles and short stories have appeared in over fifty different Christian and general publications, including Guideposts and Decision. My devotions are included in eight anthologies and I wrote devotions on assignment and freelance for the following daily devotionals: Devotions, Open Windows, Pathways to God, The Quiet Hour, The Secret Place and The Upper Room.
I wrote an inspirational newspaper column for seven years. At writers' conferences I teach workshops on "Writing Short Fiction" and "Coauthoring."
I am a contributing online writer for Christian Devotions Ministries (ChristianDevotions.us), an international email daily devotional.
Professional membership: American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW).
I hold a B.A. degree from Lincoln Memorial University (TN), and a M.Ed. degree from Mississippi State University. I am a member of Lincoln Memorial University's Literary Hall of Fame. See photo below.
